Skiing & snowboarding
Full immersion
Saying that the Alpine Hut Pralongià is located on the ski slopes of Alta Badia is obviously not enough. It is fully immersed in the ski area of Alta Badia with its 130 km of slopes that vary in length and difficulty, offering a unique experience for any skier. Those who prefer blue slopes, can enjoy the long nonstop runs from Pralongià to San Cassiano and Corvara. Little skiers are welcome to the Kidsslope Pralongià, a successful blend of a winter playground and a ski run full of funny obstacles. The aces of Alpine skiing can head, instead, to the challenging red and black slopes, like the famous Gran Risa run that leads to La Villa. Or try some acrobatics in the Snow Park Alta Badia. Or venture from the Alpine Hut Pralongià into the ski tour of Sellaronda or into the Great War Tour, that let you explore some other areas of Dolomiti Superski, such as Arabba, Marmolada, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Civetta and many others. There are more than 500 km of slopes that can be reached from the Alpine Hut Pralongià with skis on your feet and a Dolomiti Superski ski pass in your pocket. What are you waiting for?
Winter hiking & snowshoeing
In the snow of the Dolomites
Those who don't ski or prefer to alternate skiing with other activities, can discover the charm of winter hiking, following groomed trails that lead through meadows and woods, covered with soft and sparkling snow. Alta Badia features 80 km of marvellous winter hiking trails and some of them lead right towards the Alpine Hut Pralongià. The most virgin landscapes are discovered however with the help of snowshoes that allow to move in the powder snow in the way ancient people did. A perfect opportunity to tune into the splendid nature of the Dolomites.
Helicopter flights
Unmissable opportunity
Who has ever flown in a helicopter over the Dolomites, will cherish this memory in his heart forever. The only high-altitude helipad of Alta Badia is located next to the Alpine Hut Pralongià. Don't miss this opportunity and book a tourist flight on board Elikos helicopters or a high-speed heli-transfer to some of the other areas of Dolomiti Superski, such as the Cinque Torri, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Civetta, Marmolada, Sesto, Kronplatz, Seceda, Gardena Pass and Vigo di Fassa.
