Arrival at the Alpine Hut Pralongià in winter from Corvara and S. Cassiano

The Alpine Hut Pralongià is not reserved for skiers only. Those who don't ski can reach Pralongià along the groomed winter trails of Alta Badia that wind through virgin natural scenery. The landscapes are wild, the nature of the Dolomites – mighty and imposing. Enjoy this beauty in gratified solitude, away from the crowded ski slopes. And then have a rest, savouring a hearty lunch on the terrace of the Alpine Hut Pralongià. For the return trip don't hesitate to use a sledge!

From Corvara

# take a bus or drive by car to the ample parking area at the valley station of the chairlift Pralongià (locality Planac/Corvara) and after a short ascent on foot along the ski slope you will reach a groomed winter trail that leads through a splendid winter landscape to the Alpine Hut Pralongià.

Walking time: 1 hour 30 min.

Otherwise you can take the chairlift Pralongià and join the groomed hiking trail on top.

Travel time: 30 min.

From San Cassiano

# take the cable car of Piz Sorega and, once on top, walk towards Las Vegas Lodge, where you will find a groomed hiking trail that leads to the Alpine Hut Pralongià.

Walking time: approximately 1 hour.

On the way back you can sledge down from Piz Sorega to San Cassiano on the appropriate toboggan run Tru Liösa Foram.

From Armentarola (a locality next to San Cassiano)

# take a bus or drive by car to Armentarola, where you will find a charming groomed hiking trail that first runs along the cross-country skiing trails and then enters the woodland covered with a snow blanket, culminating at the meadows of Störes. This charming spot allows you to enjoy a unique panorama of the Dolomites. At this point the Alpine Hut Pralongià is only few metres away.
