That's where I want to go!

Active living at high altitude

I'm making the Dolomites my playground!

Surrounded by the gently rolling meadows of a high alpine pasture, in summer the Dolomites are a paradise for active visitors. Whether it's hikes, mountain bike tours, or just strolls (with the children) in the clear mountain air – here, you are sure to find your very own way to actively experience the wonders of nature.

The newly renovated Pralongià mountain inn stands solitarily in the middle of a green meadow. It is illuminated by the mountain sun and offers a view of a magnificent Dolomites panorama.

This is where I’ll become a Dolomites insider!

Hikes & walks

Gentle hiking, strolling, or simply gliding through the landscape with a stroller? The Pralongià mountain pasture is the ideal place for it. It is no coincidence that our place is so beloved by hikers from Corvara, La Villa and San Cassiano. Imagine leaving everyday life completely behind and walking through lush meadows surrounded by the beauty of the Dolomites. This feeling is hard to find anywhere else. If you are up for a challenge, then you could venture onto a multi-day trekking tour through the Dolomites. The Alta Badia high altitude trail and the Dolomites high altitude trail No. 9, the so-called transverse route, lead you directly to us.

Off on 1000 adventures on 2 wheels!

Mountain bike & e-bike

As a fan of mountain biking, you will love the Pralongià plateau. There are paths and gravel tracks here that connect our mountain inn with Piz Sorega, Piz la Ila, and Col Alto. The mountain lifts up here are equipped to easily carry your mountain bike, and often even for free. If you are reasonably fit, you will easily manage the ascending and descending trails. You can test your skills by tackling the Sellaronda MTB Track Tour or the Sellaronda Bike Hero route from our location. Downhill adventures await you on the varied Bike Beats trails. If you prefer to take it easier, you can use an e-bike. Rental stations can be found in Corvara, La Villa, Col Alto, Piz Sorega and Piz la Ila. And – no need to worry – we have a charging station for your e-bike.

Back for winter!

The Pralongià plateau is an excellent gateway to 130 km of slopes of every difficulty level, from the “Kids Slope” – a mix of winter playground and ski slope – to black runs like the world-famous Gran Risa. There's the Snowpark Alta Badia, a direct connection to the Sellaronda and the Grande Guerra ski circuit. Additionally, there is also direct access to 80 km of winter hiking trails that can be enjoyed with or without snowshoes.

More central than this? Impossible!

In winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the surrounding Alta Badia ski resort, or go for a winter hike – perhaps with snowshoes. In summer, mountain biking and e-bike rides, gentle strolls, and serious hikes await. Afterwards, savour culinary delights, relax in the spa, and indulge in deep sleep in the cosy rooms.

See, taste, feel

The view up here is breathtakingly beautiful. To ensure that your senses are equally enchanted by our food, we have to work quite hard in the kitchen, but we do this with immense pleasure, driven by Ladin hospitality.

The waitress at the Pralongià Mountain Inn is laughing and pouring a glass of white wine. Next to it, a glowing red drink in a glass and three other wine bottles are standing on the counter.
