That's where I want to go!

I'm in wonderland!

One of the world’s most beautiful winter destinations

I'm in wonderland!

Surrounded by the glittering snowfields and majestic peaks of the Dolomites, our region transforms into a true paradise for active visitors in winter. Whether it's skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or simply letting off steam (with the children) in the clear, fresh mountain air – you are sure to find your very own way to actively enjoy the wonderful winter landscape here.

Skiing and snowboarding

Slopes of every colour are accessible from our location. Blue slopes lead from us to San Cassiano or Corvara. Children spend their first unforgettable winter days at the Kids Slope Pralongià, a mix of snowy playground and ski slope. A different kind of playground awaits on the red and black runs, such as the famous Gran Risa, which leads down to La Villa. Yet another playground is the Snowpark Alta Badia, which is filled with creative and progressively more exciting features. Starting from here, you can use over 500 km of slopes on skis or a board! This includes the Sellaronda, the Grande Guerra ski circuit, and other Dolomiti Superski areas like Arara, Marmolada, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Cortina d'Ampezzo and many more. Go ahead and let loose; at the Pralongià, a delightful, fortifying meal awaits you – and if you like – a warm bedroom.

Let's take it slow, through the winter landscape!

Winter hiking and snowshoeing

There are people who neither ski nor snowboard, or those who do but also take a day off. Everyone is well-advised to try a snowshoe hike up here on the Pralongià, or at least a winter hike. Within the Alta Badia slope network, a full 80 km of carefully prepared winter hiking trails are exclusively reserved for this purpose. For those who don't know yet: the difference lies in what you have on your feet. If it's just hiking boots or snow boots, then you're doing a winter hike. If your boots stand on a frame that distributes your weight (no, not a tennis racket!), then you are snowshoeing. They successfully prevent you from sinking into deep snow. This allows you to traverse paths that would otherwise be inaccessible and enjoy incomparable peace and views.

Today I'm really taking off right at the heart of the Dolomites!

Helicopter flights

The only high-altitude landing pad in Alta Badia is located very close to our Pralongià Mountain Inn. You can book scenic and transfer flights from here. Feel like an eagle for a moment and instantly gather impressions that you are sure never to forget. Explore areas of the Dolomites such as Cinque Torri, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Civetta, Marmolada, Sesto, Plan de Corones, Seceda, the Gardena Pass and Vigo di Fassa.

Back for summer

In summer, you are surrounded by fragrant meadows, lush pastures, pure mountain air and the legendary rocky peaks here. Inside, a gentle feeling of security, wellness and lingering culinary delights await you. At dusk, there is the spectacle of the seemingly glowing Dolomite rocks. In summer, a completely new world opens up to you here!

More central than this? Impossible!

In winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the surrounding Alta Badia ski resort, or go for a winter hike – perhaps with snowshoes. In summer, mountain biking and e-bike rides, gentle strolls, and serious hikes await. Afterwards, savour culinary delights, relax in the spa, and indulge in deep sleep in the cosy rooms.

See, taste, feel

The view up here is breathtakingly beautiful. To ensure that your senses are equally enchanted by our food, we have to work quite hard in the kitchen, but we do this with immense pleasure, driven by Ladin hospitality.
